Hi Kat, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a professional fighter and lifelong animal lover, I’m channeling my dedication and passion into Black Lab Organics, a small business offering freshly baked, all-natural, and organic dog treats. Growing up with dogs, I always dreamed of being a veterinarian, which led me to volunteer at animal shelters and care for my own furry family of three dogs, two guinea pigs, and a cat. Black Lab Organics is more than a business-it’s a way to give back to pets everywhere by creating wholesome, healthy treats that honor the animals we love.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been the smoothest road but the support from the community is incredible. I started Black Lab Organics out of pocket and looking to get some more funding in order to invest more into the business. I am extremely grateful for existing customers and supporters that like my posts online to purchasing my treats for their pups.

Taking care of my animals and martial arts. They are both a way of life
