Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Ruiz & Jackie Dinh.

Hi Kelly and Jackie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When we first built BeYOUtiful Aesthetics, we wanted a comfortable and safe place that is beyond a typical spa or salon. We wanted to make people feel confident and empowered in their own skin. We created this place with our clients in mind for them to be the best version of themselves.

We always knew we wanted more for our future and had a passion for our industry. When the pandemic hit, we decided to put everything on the line and fully invest in ourselves, it wasn’t easy but we knew it was all or nothing. When we opened our doors, we started out by sharing one studio room between both of us, and we would just take the client in between each other’s appointments, we made it work! Now almost one year later, we have been able to expand to two studio rooms, allowing us to take in more clients and work side by side.

We started with very little, just a vision to create a BeYOUtiful space that is different from your typical spa/salon and less than a year later, we feel like we have accomplished that! We are beyond grateful for all of the love, support, and loyalty our clients and loved ones have shown us. We would not be where we are without them!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Opening a business is never a smooth road, we definitely struggled as two young entrepreneurs in our industry. We did receive doubts from those around us because we are both inexperienced in the business aspect, however we have taken every bump in the road as a learning experience and take it day by day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a full-service beauty studio. We specialize in Brazilian waxing, Eyelash extensions, and Customized skin care treatments. We also offer a few specialized services like Vagacials, Booty facials, eyebrow shaping, and more! We can customize any service to your specific needs.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What we love most about Orlando is that it is so diverse, you can see so many different types of culture mold together to create one community. Another thing we love and appreciate is the city’s fondness for small businesses, without their continuous support it we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Traffic in Orlando is definitely something that is hard to get used to.
