Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Benemelis.
Laura, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was little, I grew up watching Disney movies, I was born in Cuba and grew up in Lima, Peru, as you can see I was living super far from Disney World so I could never have the opportunity to travel to the US before. Also, my parents could not afford it.
When I moved to FL, 6 years ago that childhood dream became stronger so I decided to try my luck and become a Disney content creator, a few months after I created my account I decided to take my first Disney trip and I have been in love with it since then.
Becoming a pass holder has given me the opportunity to go to the parks more often, I find myself sharing lots of magic on my page from my Disney trips, snacks, cute reels, or showcasing a product on my stories and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all hahaha, social media can be a dark place, not everything is so exciting and our lives outside of social media are not that perfect. Us, content creators have different struggles to overcome every day but in my case showing up and posting something or just seeing other people’s magic made a difference.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I studied to become a Veterinarian but never finished it because I moved to the States, so then, I decided to try luck and while I was pregnant with my first child I was working 2 jobs and became a medical biller.
It was not easy but I’m happy I did it. Now, I can provide a better future for my child.

Big shoutout to my fiancé, he is one of my biggest supporters. He is my park buddy too, when we go to Disney together, he helps me take my pictures for the content I create!
