Today we’d like to introduce you to Leyah Childress.
Leyah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Leyah picked up her first camera when she was in middle school and hasn’t stopped taking pictures since. Leyah and Josh met in August of 2015 and got married in December of 2016. They had always hoped and dreamed to own their own business someday. Leyah had steadily worked hard on growing the business, but it wasn’t until her partner in crime left his job to go full time with her, that their photography business went from a dream to a reality. Josh is the brains behind everything, while Leyah is the creative. Their passions complement each other so well to create a profitable business. They specialize in weddings, families, and maternity photos. They love working with all of their clients to create lasting heirlooms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The largest challenge that Josh and Leyah faced was trying to run a profitable business with only one of them being able to focus full time on it. Once Josh was able to leave his job and go full force with Leyah, they have been unstoppable.

LeyRe Photography specializes in Weddings, family, and maternity sessions. Leyah is most proud of her relationships with her clients. She has never had an upset client and she strives to continue serving the central Florida area in a Christ-like manner.
