Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Solo.
Luis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Since I was a child I have liked to share my interests. Over time, I have spread them through different social networks: Facebook, Instagram, blogs, etc. But I always wanted something better, a space where I had no limits. In 2020 I had the idea of creating a podcast about movies, series, Star Wars, and more.
I developed my project, and even with uncertainty I launched my channel, surprisingly the program became popular, becoming one of the most listened-to channels in Mexico within the category of hobbies in Apple Podcasts.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The most difficult part of my job has been generating ideas, as well as permanence, since having a podcast involves my time, effort, and to a certain extent money.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My podcast, The Luis Show, offers opinions on movies and series, gameplays, and episodes about Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, mysteries, history, etc. In the same way, you can find miniseries, special guests, and many more incredible things.
Something that makes me very proud is the recognition that various platforms such as Apple podcasts have given us since said service has awarded us titles such as: “One of the best releases of 2021” | and “An entertaining show.”
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I don’t believe in luck, I believe in God, and He has played a very important and personal role in my life. He allows me to do what I do to help other people in whatever they need.
