Today we’d like to introduce you to Lydae Jurvel.
Hi Lydae, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I first started my journey back in 2019, working on my first song at bent strings studios. There after several iterations of making my first country song, I decided to try something different and that’s when I wrote “problems” which to this day is a staple for me and how I want my music career to be. After that, it’s been moments after moments meeting new artist and event drivers around Tampa, from performing to small crowds of 20 ish people to performing at a festival in front of 500+ in attendance. My music and how I approach it is more of a conversation, everybody has a story to tell and I’m just helping share theirs. So, after I meet my team as I am a part of a collective called “Lucid” and we’re just getting better by the minute. I’ve preformed in “loud on 7th” festival as well, one of the new and rising places to be in Tampa hosted by “Aych”. There’s so much more to say but this is my condensed version of who I am and the person I will be.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a very humbling journey, a lot stemmed from taking the craft seriously. Definitely if you’re not the best in the room it’s time to get to knowing who is and building a long side until it’s your time to shine
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a musician first and foremost. I’m known for my stage presence as it lingers in the room even after moments pass. I’m most proud of my lyrical ability to tie serious matters into a pleasant display! I’m versatile in my craft as I can vein from pop, rock, r&b to jazz and rap this skill I’m most proud of
Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
Apps I’m frequently using is Spotify. I get most of my information from there through “mindset mentor” and “Tape Notes”. The first teaching about business and the other teaching of the process behind the artist and music. Then there’s YouTube helping me with building my skill set as a producer
