Life & Work with Maria Olaya of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Olaya.

Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our brand Lulus Designs was born in August 2020 as a family business of two sisters, Maria and Paula, supported by our father who has always been an entrepreneur and made us fall in love with the idea of having our own business. This is a dream that with the help of God was build, a community that revolves around our clients and the idea of bringing new products.

We seek to inspire, create, empower, and above all promote consumption with social, economic, and environmental awareness.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As go getters, during covid quarantine we took that as an opportunity to launch our business because that time was when people where more connected to social media and so, in that matter we see challenges as opportunities to grow and develop. Of course, it is not always easy to create and be an entrepreneur starting from zero but with the help of God, our father and our passion we were and we have been able to overcome the challenges that come with having your own business.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a gift shop with a wide range of procuts which people can custom to their preference, our main focus is for our clients to express themselves in our products whether is a gift or just to keep it.

What matters most to you? Why?
For us what matters the most is God, helping and inspiring people, and being able to portrait ideas into products.
