Hi Megan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
NextSteps Academy started as an integrative extension of are family company First Step Therapy , this is the base of all the added services to are Preschool ,Micro School Program. We are supported by private ownership and community support offering In house OT,PT,SLP and ABA support services for families that qualify . We are partners with numerous scholarship funding . We are able to offer integrated curriculum and care to children and families sensitive to unique abilities
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Are journey has been supported by many !! but not without challenges surrounding mostly trying to bring are programs to a bigger group of famaliies in need of service , however I believe we will be able to offer 2 new campuses going into 2026 ,2027 school years in the counties of Seminole and Polk County
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I believe we offer a grounded program of integrative curriculum, support and therapy services as well as opportunities to partner with funding services that give families choices that better fit family dynamics including, environmental and mental health , special needs , language barriers and learning disabilities .These areas are not limited and all families are welcome as we offer an environment of comfort to help children grow with strong connections and give parents and families a whole well rounded experience.I believe we are most proud of are staff support , we mange are teams as partners and give each person place to be safe at work, care for there own children and grow. I don’t know exactly what sets us apart as many environments that care for children and families are good , we believe each environment is safe and supported as a community.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Are biggest fans are are kiddos , there success is so amazing they are the ones keeping us on are toes and teaching us ! It is there world and we are to love and support .
