Merissa is a passionate hair and makeup artist from a quaint town in Louisiana. Her journey began as a professional dancer, where she discovered her love for expressing creativity through movement. It wasn’t long before she fell in love with the world of hair and makeup, recognizing it as another form of artistry.
While in cosmetology school, she found her niche in the bridal industry, quickly realizing it was the perfect blend of her artistic vision and her love for making others feel beautiful.
With over a decade of experience in both hair and makeup, Merissa has honed her skills to perfection. Specializing in bridal, commercial and corporate events. She pursued additional training in Russian hair design, becoming certified in this intricate art form. Her expertise has taken her across various locations, traveling to create stunning looks for clients on their special days.
Today, Merissa continues to thrive in the bridal beauty scene, dedicated to making each bride feel like a masterpiece. With her unique background and artistic flair, she brings a touch of magic to every client.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey in the wedding industry has been filled with challenges and obstacles, especially in the early days of starting my business. There were moments when the path seemed daunting, but I persevered through each hurdle. This past year, however, has been incredibly rewarding, and I feel so blessed to have met so many amazing brides, not just here in Florida, but across the country and even overseas. Being a part of their special day has brought me immense joy, and I cherish the connections I’ve made along the way. It’s a privilege to contribute as even a small part of someone’s special day!

I specialize in soft glam to full glam makeup, complemented by clean, textured updos and stunning glam waves. What sets me apart in the industry is my ability to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for my brides. I strive to make each bride feel like one of my best friends, ensuring a calm and enjoyable morning as we prepare for their special day. By seamlessly fitting in with the entire bridal party, I help to create a warm and familiar environment, making the experience feel less like a service and more like a cherished moment shared among friends. Additionally, I take great pride in fostering an environment for fellow creatives, empowering them to grow and achieve their own goals. This supportive community not only enhances the overall experience for everyone involved but also allows us to celebrate the beauty of collaboration and creativity in our industry.

People can easily work and collaborate with me in a variety of ways, whether it’s through direct bookings for their special day or by joining forces on creative projects. I love to expand my preferred vendors list, connecting with other talented professionals within the wedding industry to create a network of excellence. I’m always on the lookout for skilled artists to join me for weddings and larger bridal parties. My approach includes a structured training system that not only helps these artists refine their skills but also ensures that they align with the quality and style my brides expect. - The Party Package: Start at $190 per person
- The Full Bridal Experience (which is my package that includes, the trial, the wedding rehearsal, the full wedding day (which is the morning of plus 4 hours after) this package is $1000
