Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia Deva’ine.
Hi Mia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely. I come from a long line of spiritual healers, I’m a 17th-generation shaman. This is not a path I necessarily chose, it’s one I was born into. For as long as I could remember, I could feel that I experienced the world differently.
I experienced life through an expanded lens. I’ve always feltand carried the emotions of others, receiving guidance in stillness, and witnessing the unseen dance between energy and form I couldn’t explain. It wasn’t always easy, but I later understood that these sensitivities were ancestral gifts. It was a sacred calling passed down through many generations.
Over time, I began to answer that call intentionally. I immersed myself in the spiritual and healing arts, studying African Traditional Medicine, which reconnected me to the wisdom of my roots. I deepened my energetic work by becoming a Reiki Master in the Usui Tibetan, Holy Fire, Karuna, and Animal Reiki lineages. I also became certified in Sound Healing and as an End-of-Life Doula, weaving together energetic, emotional, and spiritual support for others on their healing journeys.
My yoga path also expanded as I earned my 200-hour RYT, along with certifications in Tantric Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Mindfulness (200 hours), Yoga for First Responders, and Kidding Around Yoga. I approach yoga as ritual, not just movement, but sacred embodiment. I also incorporate mudras and sacred breathwork into my sessions, guiding Celestials to access deeper layers of consciousness and inner knowing.
My work has never been about telling people their future. I am not a psychic or a medium. I am a spiritual healer. Psychics often connected with intuition and look ahead. I help you look inward. I connect directly with your energy, with what is present, what is hidden, and what is unhealed. Spiritual healing is a reclamation of the past in this lifetime, especially those parts of you that were forgotten, silenced, or wounded. It is through healing the inner child, the shadow, and the suppressed self that we come into true presence. Only in the now can we walk forward consciously and courageously.
Whether or not a person believes in God, spirit, or any defined belief system does not affect the work we do together. The work meets them wherever they are. The future is predestined, but how we get there is shaped by free will, by our level of consciousness. When people sit with me, it’s not about fortune-telling. It’s about soul-telling. It’s about reconnecting with their truth, their wounds, and ultimately, their wholeness.
Today, I hold space through private sessions, group ceremonies, seminars, and immersive retreats, where I guide others on their journey back to Self. I’m honored to walk with people as they remember: life is not happening to them — moment by moment, they are experiencing it. And within that experience lies their power.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all!! The road has been anything but smooth. I have to take a breather just thinking about it. This path chose me before I fully understood what it meant to walk it. I didn’t just inherit spiritual gifts, I inherited deep responsibility, ancestral wounds, and the call to become a vessel for healing in this lifetime.
From early, I sensed energy, carried emotions that weren’t mine, and received spiritual insight I didn’t always know how to explain. It was isolating, especially growing up in a world that didn’t understand or acknowledged that level of spiritual sensitivity. I had to learn how to live with a foot in both worlds: the physical and the energetic.
One of the most painful challenges has been the misconceptions about my work. Because I am a shaman and an energy worker, some people have assumed I am a witch that practices voodoo. I am not a witch and I do not practice voodoo. That misunderstanding is rooted in fear, colonial conditioning, and a lack of knowledge about traditional African and indigenous spiritual systems. My work is rooted in spiritual healing, Jesus Christ Consciousness, and energy, not spells, not sorcery, not control. My work is about connection, not manipulation.
When people don’t understand traditional spiritual practices they tend to label them in harmful ways.
But my work is not dark — it is from the light, bringing clarity, divine truth, and a commitment to helping people heal. I don’t move from ego, labels, or performance. I move from alignment and a calling that is far greater than me.
I’ve had to learn how to hold space for that ignorance without letting it silence or shape me. I’ve had to stay true to who I am and what I’ve been called to do, even when others couldn’t/can’t see it clearly.
I’ve also had to walk through my own shadows. This path demands that I do the same work I ask others to do: sitting with my inner child, confronting ancestral pain, grieving what I’ve lost, and continually coming back to presence. This is not performative healing, it is lived. And it’s only by walking through that fire myself that I’m able to hold space for others with true integrity.
Despite all the challenges, I’ve never walked alone. I’ve been carried, corrected, and comforted by God every step of the way. Even in the moments I felt misunderstood or rejected, there was always a higher purpose unfolding. And now, when I sit with one of my Celestials, I bring that lived wisdom not just to heal, but to remind them of who they are and they are never alone.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At the heart of everything I do is spiritual healing. I was born with a deep connection to energy and the spirit world, and I’ve spent my life learning how to work with that connection. Doing my best not to escape this world, but to bring healing into it.
I specialize in shadow work, inner child healing, and helping people release emotional and energetic blockages that keep them stuck in patterns of pain. My approach is not about surface-level fixes — it’s about soul-level transformation.
In addition to private sessions, I host seminars, workshops, and retreats — all designed to create safe, sacred spaces where people can do the real work of coming home to themselves.
One thing that sets me apart is that I am not a psychic or a medium, and I do not use tarot cards, oracle decks, or divination tools. I don’t focus on telling people their future or passing on messages. I work with your energy, not your story. While psychics and mediums tend to rely on intuition and foresight, my work is about helping people go inward — to heal the past, so they can live fully in the present. Only when we are truly present can we meet the future with clarity.
What I’m most proud of is that my work is guided by God. I’ve had people from all walks of life sit with me, people of faith, people with no belief system at all and none of it matters. Healing transcends belief. It’s about being willing to look inward, to listen, and to feel. The future may be predestined, but how we walk toward it is shaped by our level of consciousness — by our free will. And I help people raise that consciousness, one session at a time.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe we’re entering a time where spiritual healing is becoming less of a trend and more of a necessity. The world is waking up to the reality that true healing isn’t just physical or mental, it’s energetic, emotional, ancestral, and spiritual. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see a major shift toward people seeking deeper, more embodied, more integrative healing experiences — not quick fixes, not surface-level spirituality, but soul-level transformation.
There’s already a growing hunger for authenticity and ancestral wisdom. People are beginning to question the watered-down versions of healing that have been widely commercialized and are instead seeking out rooted, traditional, and spiritually guided practices, like the ones I offer through my work. That gives me hope, because it means the collective is becoming more intentional and more conscious.
I believe more and more people will be called to understand themselves from the inside out. Energy healing, shadow work, inner child integration, and breath-based modalities will continue to rise because they empower people to reconnect with their essence and reclaim their truth.
More people will also come to realize that spiritual healing isn’t about religion, and it’s not about predictions — it’s about presence. Whether someone believes in God or not, the healing space is available to all. This work meets people where they are, without forcing beliefs and I think that inclusivity will become even more essential in the years to come.
As someone who is guided by God and deeply connected to the Jesus Christ Consciousness, I see my role not just as a healer, but as a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern need. And I think that’s where the industry is going too, away from labels, toward embodied truth and personal liberation.
Pricing:
- My pricing is spiritually guided and based on the angel number I receive when we’re discussing the appointment. That means it varies, but I always let people know upfront. Because the numbers are divinely sent, my rates are far below what’s typically charged for this kind of work. At the same time, I’m still living in the 3D world and have bills to pay like everyone else. If someone is able to tip, it’s appreciated, but it’s never expected. I’m more focused on making healing accessible and honoring the spiritual nature of the work.
