Hi Niahyari, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I reached a point where I was determined to move away from jobs that didn’t spark any interest or motivation in me. The struggle of working a full-time job was wearing me down, so I decided to find a new path. I set myself a deadline to discover something I would genuinely enjoy and that could also generate income. That’s when the idea of starting my own cleaning business came to me. I brainstormed a catchy name and designed a logo, which was the moment I knew I needed to embrace discipline fully. Transitioning from my corporate sales and marketing position to launching my own venture was a significant leap. I officially launched Hand Maid 4 You in October 2023 and dedicated every ounce of my time to planning, implementing, and executing my vision. I made plenty of mistakes along the way, and I know there will be more to come. However, I can confidently say that I’m finally doing something I love that can provide a passive income stream while opening doors for additional revenue opportunities. It dawned on me that I had unintentionally stepped into the role of an entrepreneur.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While the journey hasn’t been without its challenges, I’ve gained valuable insights along the way. I learned the importance of identifying my target audience, maintaining customer loyalty, and promoting my business without resorting to high-pressure tactics. In this field, word of mouth is invaluable, so being approachable, networking with others, and effectively marketing myself became essential strategies for success.

I focus on a variety of cleaning services, including commercial, residential, vacation rentals, event cleaning, and post-construction cleanup. My reputation is built on my keen attention to detail and, most importantly, my ability to understand exactly what my customers expect from my services. I prioritize building strong relationships with my clients and maintain open, transparent communication throughout the process.

As a single mother, remember that the phrase “you can’t” doesn’t exist in your vocabulary. You have the power to achieve anything you set your mind to.
