Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Silverio
Patricia Silverio
Hi Patricia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my photography journey six years ago, drawn to the way imagery can tell a story beyond just a single moment. Over time, I developed an editorial and documentary-style approach, blending my love for fashion with wedding photography. My goal has always been to create visually stunning yet deeply personal images that reflect each couple’s unique love story.
Based in Florida, I specialize in destination weddings, capturing love stories in breathtaking locations while ensuring a seamless and fashion-forward experience for my clients. My approach is a mix of effortless storytelling and editorial elegance, making every wedding feel timeless yet modern.
My brand, Patricia Silverio.co, represents the intersection of fashion and weddings, and I’m always evolving—whether through creative collaborations, film photography, or capturing love stories in new and inspiring ways.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road like any creative journey, there have been challenges along the way. One of the biggest struggles has been navigating the balance between artistry and business. As a photographer, I’m passionate about storytelling and capturing love in an editorial, effortless way, but building a sustainable business requires so much more than just creative talent. Learning how to market myself, attract the right clients, and set boundaries has been a process.
Another challenge has been managing expectations both my own and those of my clients. Not every shoot goes perfectly, and there have been moments where I’ve had to handle difficult client feedback, tight timelines, or unexpected hurdles. But each challenge has taught me something valuable, whether it’s refining my workflow, improving communication, or learning to trust my creative instincts.
Despite the struggles, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. Every experience good or bad has shaped me into the photographer I am today, and I’m excited to continue growing and evolving in this space.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a destination wedding photographer based in Florida, specializing in editorial and documentary-style imagery. My work blends fashion-forward aesthetics with a storytelling approach, creating wedding photos that feel both effortless and deeply personal. I focus on capturing the in-between moments, the stolen glances, quiet touches, and raw emotions that make each love story unique.
I’m known for my ability to make couples feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, allowing their personalities to shine through in a natural yet refined way. My background in fashion influences my approach, helping me curate compositions that feel timeless while still embracing modern trends.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the connections I build with my clients. Every wedding I capture is more than just a job, it’s a chance to create something meaningful and lasting for the couples who trust me with their memories. I also love incorporating film photography into my work, adding an extra layer of nostalgia and artistry.
What sets me apart is my editorial eye combined with a documentary heart. I don’t just take photos—I create an experience that allows couples to be fully present while I capture the magic of their day in a way that feels authentic, stylish, and uniquely theirs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe luck has played a role in my journey, but more than anything, it’s been about preparation meeting opportunity. There have been moments of good luck connecting with the right clients at the right time, discovering dream locations for shoots, or having a piece of content go viral and bring in new opportunities. But behind those moments, there’s been years of hard work, consistency, and trust in my vision.
Of course, there have also been challenges that felt like bad luck technical issues, difficult client experiences, or unexpected changes that forced me to adapt quickly. But I’ve learned that setbacks often lead to growth. Every challenge has pushed me to refine my process, improve my communication, and become more intentional in my work.
At the end of the day, I don’t rely on luck alone. I focus on showing up, staying true to my style, and creating work that I’m proud of. And when luck does come my way, whether good or bad, I make sure to learn from it and keep moving forward.
