Hey there, I’m Ryan Kosnik, your go-to local influencer here in sunny Orlando! My journey in the entertainment world has been nothing short of a wild ride. I kicked off my career as an actor and model in Atlanta, Georgia, where I quickly found myself working with big names like Tyler Perry, Rainforest Films, and even QVC. But the real twist came when I was invited to join one of Atlanta’s most popular radio shows, turning my world upside down and opening up all sorts of exciting new doors. From the spotlight to the airwaves, I’ve been lucky enough to experience it all
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being in the entertainment industry means you hear the word “no” more often than you’d like—and trust me, that’s tough when my favorite word is “yes!” But here’s the thing: you get used to it. In fact, it pushes you to work harder, be more creative, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. I’ve learned that the key is saying *yes* to everything.
But my biggest challenge came last November when I was diagnosed with throat cancer. It was a gut-punch, no doubt. But what surprised me was how the community rallied around me. The love and support I received throughout my treatment were incredible. I had to step back from my job to focus on my health, but in doing so, I found a new purpose—content creation.
I never imagined that at 36, facing cancer , I’d be given a second chance at all. But that’s exactly what happened. Today, I’m back in front of the camera, booking acting jobs again, and blessed with exciting new opportunities every week. Life threw me some curveballs, but I’m hitting them out of the park—grateful for every moment, every chance to create, and every “yes” that’s still to come.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a local content creator here in Orlando, and I’m all about showcasing the best of the Orlando lifestyle. If you had to pin me down, though, I’d say I’m especially known for my focus on food and beverage. What makes me stand out? Well, I’m not just talking about food—I *live* it. I come from a family of food lovers, with my mom being a world food champion. On top of that, I’ve got years of hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry myself. So, when I share recommendations or reviews, it’s not just from a place of passion—it’s from real, professional knowledge.
A lot of content creators claim to be food bloggers, but many of them don’t have that background or expertise in the industry. I think that’s what truly sets me apart. I’m not just talking about what I like I’m talking about what I know
As for what I’m most proud of? Honestly, it’s not one thing in particular. I’m just grateful for every opportunity that comes my way and excited to keep growing with each new project. It’s all about the journey for me—and I’m loving every step of it.
How do you define success?
Success, for me, is when my agent calls with a role I actually want—*and* my latest Instagram post gets more likes than my mom’s comment. It’s when you finally nail that scene, but also remember to get the perfect selfie between takes. Basically, success is juggling auditions, filming, and trying to make avocado toast look like a Michelin-star meal all at once. with all jokes, aside, success for me is being content and generally happy and being at peace
