Hi Sanely, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I actually didn’t set out planning to be in the mortgage world—but life has a funny way of leading you exactly where you’re meant to be. I started off in customer service and collections, always loving the feeling of helping people and solving problems. Eventually, I found myself drawn to the real estate world, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoyed guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives—buying a home.
Over time, I became a licensed mortgage loan originator and joined Meadowbrook Financial. Now, I get to help people every day with financing their dream homes, walking them through the process, and making it feel a little less overwhelming. I especially love working with first-time buyers and sharing awesome down payment assistance programs like Hometown Heroes and NHF—because everyone deserves a shot at homeownership.
It’s been a journey full of learning, growth, and lots of happy clients—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Becoming an MLO has had its share of ups and downs. Juggling life and building a career from the ground up wasn’t easy. There were months when deals fell through, clients disappeared, or everything just felt overwhelming. The mortgage industry can be unpredictable, and staying consistent when your income depends on closings takes real discipline and resilience. There were late nights, moments of doubt, and times I questioned if I could really make it. But I pushed through, staying focused on the bigger picture and the goals I set for myself—and every challenge has made me stronger and more prepared for what’s next.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As an MLO, I help guide people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives—buying or refinancing a home. I specialize in working with first-time homebuyers, self-employed clients, and those who may not fit the traditional lending mold. I take pride in making the process feel less intimidating by educating my clients every step of the way and being available to answer questions—even the ones they’re afraid to ask.
What I’m most proud of is being able to turn what once felt impossible for me—homeownership—into a reality not just for myself, but for so many others. What sets me apart is my empathy, transparency, and genuine commitment to seeing my clients succeed. I don’t just close loans—I build relationships, and I make sure every person I work with feels seen, heard, and supported.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is my family, my friends, my peace, and my financial freedom. My loved ones are my biggest motivation—they’re the reason I work hard and keep pushing forward, even when things get tough. I value quality time and meaningful connections, and I try to be as present as possible with the people who matter most.
Peace of mind is also non-negotiable for me. I’ve learned that protecting my energy and mental health is just as important as chasing success. And financial freedom? That’s the goal. Not just for myself, but to create stability, options, and generational opportunities. Everything I do is with purpose—to grow, to give, and to build a life that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good on the outside.
