Life & Work with Scania Alexandre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Scania Alexandre.

Hi Scania, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Fashion is a part of me I grew up watching my mother dress and for every occasion, this is where my inspiration first came from. Once I see something it could be a piece of fabric or a dress I already envision how it would look or how to put it together. I’ve been doing this my whole life but I never thought I would do it professionally I started in the Haitian community back in 2021 and it’s been an amazing ride, of course, it has its flaws it’s a very time-consuming job but I always look forward to the finished product.

Details mean a lot to me I put a lot of effort into every Art that I create I am a perfectionist so I strive for perfection.

My goal is to have every man or woman I work with feel comfortable in their skin to walk into a room and own it to express themselves through fashion to conclude It’s more like a passion, a hobby that turns into a career.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part yes but also dealing with different personalities and trying to get someone to get out of their comfort zone can be challenging and it’s a time-consuming job.
