Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Carineau.
Hi Sharon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
At age 13, my life took a transformative turn when I embraced Christianity during a spring break vacation Bible school session. Giving my life to Christ remains the most significant and impactful decision ever. It shaped my journey up to this point and laid the foundation for the creation of Girls With The Gospel. This community is a platform dedicated to empowering women and girls to develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus and share His message in their respective spheres. I’ve observed that many people have misconceptions about God; some only recognize His name without truly understanding His nature and the extent of His love for us. Through my journey, I’ve realized that the more we seek to know God, the more we experience His goodness and mercy. My ultimate goal is to foster a more profound knowledge of God within all individuals. Girls With the Gospel is just the beginning of my mission to help others know and experience the love of God.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Launching Girls With The Gospel hasn’t been without its challenges, but I’ve felt God’s presence guiding me every step throughout the journey. In the early stages, doubts and fears occasionally surface, but I rely on God’s promises to dispel them. As someone who tends to shy away from the spotlight, the idea of starting Girls With The Gospel initially filled me with apprehension. In prayer, I often suggested to God that someone else take the lead while I could support from behind the scenes. However, God urged me to be courageous each time, reminding me that this mission transcends my comfort and emotions. It’s about reaching women worldwide who need to encounter Jesus. I urge everyone to heed God’s call and pursue whatever task or endeavor He guides you. Some people rely on your obedience, eagerly awaiting the fulfillment of what God has appointed you to do or begin.

Apart from leading Girls With The Gospel, I am also the author of “Rooted In Christ: A Journey of Faith, Growth, & Purpose” and the creator and host of “The Royal Identity” podcast. Additionally, I’m currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Psychology. What distinguishes me is my sincere desire for God to be honored and exalted in every aspect of my life, be it in my studies, profession, personal endeavors, or business pursuits.
Do you have any big plans?
In the future, I aspire to reach and impact individuals beyond my state and country. With God’s guidance, I will publish numerous books supporting people in their journey with Christ and leading others to Him. I eagerly anticipate what lies ahead and trust God’s plan for my life.
