Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefanie Eikleberry
Hi Stefanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was a stay at home mom for 6 years and absolutely adored it. When the pandemic hit, I found myself with so much extra time. I have always been crafty, so I decided to teach myself how to do macrame. I started with small things, like earrings, and then gradually tried out candles, then wax melts, then cold process soaps and the list goes on and on! I started on Etsy, but now I sell in local shops in my area and I absolutely love it!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This has not been smooth sailing for me. One of the biggest challenges was the time and dedication it took to perfecting my recipes for my candles, soaps, wax melts and lip balms. It takes A LOT of trial and error, but it is well worth it in the end.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in soy wax candles/wax melts and cold process soaps. My soaps are what I am most proud of. I only use natural colorants that consist of herbs, clays, florals and spices. I love the challenge of creating my designs and the possibilities are absolutely endless. I use quality ingredients and pride myself on being as eco-friendly as possible.
How do you define success?
Success is never giving up on your dreams and finding joy in what you do.
