Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Nicole Thomas.
Hi Tiffany Nicole, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
What initially inspired me to start my businesses was a deep-rooted passion for creativity and helping others. From a very young age, I found joy in self-expression—whether it was drawing and painting on clothes, filling coloring books, journaling, or experimenting with hairstyles. Creativity was always my outlet. In high school, I started braiding hair for other girls, and while I was skilled, I knew it wasn’t my true passion.
After graduating, I became pregnant with my daughter at age 18/19. Despite the challenges, I was determined to keep my creative spirit alive. That’s when I began doing makeup—starting with myself. Looking back, my early attempts were far from perfect, but they were part of my learning curve. I practiced on friends and family and eventually began charging just $25 for my services. Yes, JUST $25! At the time, it didn’t feel like work—it was something I genuinely loved, and getting paid felt like a bonus.
My confidence grew when a client asked, “Why are your prices so low?” That moment was a wake-up call. I realized I needed to value my work more and began raising my prices, even if just by $5–$10. That was a proud moment for me—a small but meaningful leap. Over time, I gained the experience and confidence to not only charge appropriately but also teach my daughter the importance of knowing her worth in her own future business.
In 2022, after experiencing a spiritual awakening, I decided to pursue an esthetician license at Aveda Institute. Ironically, I had tried to enroll there over a decade prior but didn’t complete the process because I wasn’t sure what I wanted at the time. Now, I was certain. I had always been fascinated with skincare, especially popping pimples (yes, really!) and watching hours of pimple-popping videos. But Aveda offered more than just technical skills—it introduced me to holistic and healing practices, like starting class with meditation, to begin with a peaceful state of mind.
That training shaped my next phase: I began offering reiki holistic facials and one-on-one healing services. My facials not only care for skin but also aim to heal the soul—bringing emotional wounds and blockages to the surface to be addressed and released. These can stem from childhood trauma, relationship wounds, or even past-life experiences. It’s a service I feel deeply called to offer.
In the summer of 2024, following the emotional transition of my mother’s passing, I felt a nudge to start a podcast: “Talk With Tiff.” I had zero experience, no fancy setup—just an iPhone, a vision, and a message. At the time, I slowed down on makeup and facials. Grief had dimmed my creative spark, and I realized I needed to honor my emotions rather than push through them. I also knew my services are intentional and energy-based, and I didn’t want to offer them from a space of sadness or depletion.
The podcast became my outlet—for both myself and others to speak authentically and unapologetically. Sharing real stories the everyday person could relate to. Season 1 featured incredible guests, including The Underdawgs Podcast. Season 2 takes a more personal direction with solo short clips where I share channeled messages, spiritual experiences, and soon, my Near Death Experience (NDE).
At the heart of all my work—makeup, skincare, healing, podcasting—is the desire to serve others. I’ve always been passionate about being of service rather than self-serving, a value I know is aligned with what The Most High calls us all to do. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to use my God-given gifts to help others on their journey, and I will continue to evolve, create, and share—intentionally and with love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not always been a smooth road, even up until now. Being an entrepreneur requires me to be the heart of everything that my business requires. Being the creative director, content creator, handling taxes, amongst many more task and titles. All while having a personal life, including being a mother, which is a job within itself. But there’s so much to learn and even with each bump in the road, it’s an opportunity to learn.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I provide services that helps all who desire healing, enhancing their natural beauty and/or even relaxation and skin care. I’m most proud of my endurance, and ability to acknowledge when i need to take a necessary break before reaching burn out. What sets me apart from others is my intentionality in all of my services. I actually love what I do! It isn’t only just for funds but it helps me too on my journey, by helping others.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to take my time. Be present. Check in with self so that I can show up and provide the absolute best service to all my clientele. And show up and actually be in the moment for my podcast episodes. If not, it actually could affect my work and I take great honor in putting myself first in order to be there for others.
