Life & Work with Tommy Tsu

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tommy Tsu.

Hi Tommy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
1st generation American. My family is from El Salvador. I grew up with so much energy, passion, and excitement I naturally became an entertainer. I started with events in high school to Now headlining shows in Hollywood. Not bad for a little brown boy.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Life is tough for everyone, but it’s our constraints that force us to become more creative. I never had money, so I had to become creative to fund my ambitious ideas as a kid. I sold candy, sodas, furniture, clothes, concert tickets, etc. Hustle is an art.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Musician, I write record & produce my own music. From Lofi Hip-hop to Latin Pop to Reggaeton & House. I’m a vibe, a soul, a move. I am the art, and live the colors.

I’ve started 4 companies and sponsored at least 4 more and affiliated with many clubs bars and restaurants all across Southern California. To inspire, to assist, to encourage are my real talents.

Music is for my soul. My pain, my love, my loss. You’ll hear it in the songs, from youth to man.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Senior year, I was Varsity Foot Ball Captain, Homecoming King, LA City section in Track & Field & Raked #6 Player in the state for Lacross. All while hosting a multitude of events netting over $2k as a high-school student. Worry-free, actin a fool, they use to call sweet lips, cause I was always sweet-talking the female faculty. You could not imagine.
