Hi Aaliyah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a single mom of a 5 year old son who was diagnosed with Autism back in 2021 . It has been a challenging but amazing journey with my son. He has really brought the true meaning of life to me. Kailer is the #1 reason why I decided to open Bigtimepartyrentals. When he was diagnosed at 2 years old he was non-verbal and we had a difficult time trying to communicate with him . He would get so upset and would have tantrums because he wasn’t able to speak . One day I took him to a bounce house park that came to town for the week . When we got there I noticed Kailer ‘s excitement seeing these big , colorful, exciting , bounce houses of all sizes ! He was so excited to bounce in it and it brought so much happiness to his soul! Since that day my son has always enjoyed bounce houses at parties, or parks and the smiles , and enjoyment I seen come out of him really touched my heart. It has been a positive social therapy for my son Kailer and has helped him to open up to playing and communicating with other children . My inspiration in starting bigtimepartyrentals bounce house business came from the joy I seen in my own child . I felt like it was my destiny to be apart of a company that brings so much happiness, peace and positive excitement for kids and adults to enjoy together .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road , starting a bounce house business takes a lot of money. Being a single mom and only income in my household it was tough to start. I knew I needed some help so I came up with a business plan for my business and presented it to my family who has helped me from day 1 in making this happen for Kailer and I.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been a content creator for a few years now riding my pink Kawasaki ninja 400 motorcycle . Did pretty well bringing in over 350,000 fans. Had sponsorships from various companies throughout my time creating but decided that my time is now with my son Kailer. Kailer has to be in speech , ABA , Occupational therapy and currently in ABA preschool so I am currently just focusing on him and my business .
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
In the past , as a creator collaborating was a big deal for me because it helped me to be able to reach different audiences . Today with my Big Time Party Rentals business I am learning that social media and relationships are still a very important part of the livelihood of my business so people can help me by supporting my bigtimepartyrentalss instagram account and sharing their experiences they had with us hosting their events. Sharing my story I believe is very important because people tend to really pay attention when they have a reason to remember you by.
