Meet Aicha & Nicolas Neuhierl of WunderBAR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aicha & Nicolas Neuhierl.

Hi Aicha & Nicolas, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
My wife Aicha and I (Nicolas) are originally from Germany and met each other working at the German beer garden in Epcot Disney World. We also had a German food truck here in Orlando (@orlandocurrywursttruck) which we sold in 2019. After that, we started our own personal training company here in Orlando (coaching_nwfitness) which we had to give up after the opportunity occurred to open up a juice/smoothie/açaí bar in the Millenia Mall Food Court. We opened our juice bar (@wunderbarjuice) in October 2021 and have been enjoying working there since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were many struggles along the way. Even though we know that these struggles are part of the journey, they sometimes make things a lot harder than we want to. Opening a restaurant is an adventure on its own and there are many many obstacles in order to make it a success. Along our journey, my wife also gave birth to our daughter Leia about 5 years ago and she will be giving birth to another girl next month. I wouldn’t wanna call those blessings struggles, but being here without any family 2 kids won’t make things easier 😀

As you know, we’re big fans of WunderBAR. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
In October 2021 my wife and I opened our juice bar called WunderBAR. Located inside the Millenia Mall Food Court (Be Fresh) WunderBAR is a family-owned superfood cafe offering delicious açaí bowls, dragon fruit, and coconut bowls, as well as fresh squeezed/cold-pressed juices and healthy + protein-packed smoothies. Our location also offers refreshing homemade lemonades, a variety of health shots, organic wheatgrass, and much more. All items on the menu are made fresh to order and in a non-cross-contamination kitchen to accommodate customers with food allergies. We never use any ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, artificial preservatives, guaranteeing our customers the purest taste possible with each order. We take highest pride in the quality/taste of our products as well as outstanding customer service.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Self-help books and spiritual literature have been a great support along our road! My absolute favorite is Jim Rohn.
