Hi Alex, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After dedicating many years working as a US Armed Forces Military Member, I decided to start a new journey and begin a new career as a Professional Pet Groomer. During this process, I had the opportunity to learn more about all kinds of dogs breeds. After my graduation, I started working as a professional grooming under Atlantic Veterinary Clinic in Davenport, Florida. Many years later, I established my own corporation belong the name of Alex Pet Grooming Inc., growing in customers and expanding our service, adding more employees to accomplish our mission with great results in that area
My love of animals and grooming has led me to interest also in the wonderful Toy breed of Shih Tzu, owning, breeding, and showing in AKC Conformation Dog Shows. The experience is rewarding in so many ways as it leads to greater abilities and confidence with all breeds. Actually, I’m also an active member of Shih Tzu Fancier Of Central Florida Club and the American Shih Tzu Club.
At this time, we also have the opportunity to collaborate in the early show “Despierta Orlando” Trasmmitting by Univision Channel every Friday. In this show, we also have the opportunity to bringing topics about Dog health, lifestyles, grooming to mention some of them.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This career as a professional groomer takes time to build up the trust and confidence of the new customer and create loyalty with them. The harder challenge is to keep the business growing and distinguish with excellent services to accomplish our actual and futures customers.

We specialized in dog grooming service and always looking for the hairstyle for every particular dog base on quality of hair, type of hair, behave, taking into consideration the condition of the dogs. My reward is not only to make happy owners but HAPPY PETS!!!
