Meet Alisia Braxton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisia Braxton.

Hi Alisia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started out as a gymnast 11 years ago, where I really learned the basics and fundamentals of being an all-around athlete. Both mentally and physically. From there, I traveled and competed all the way to the National and Junior Olympic level.

After retiring as a gymnast, I wanted to continue with my athletic career in some way. That’s when I started lifting weights heavily and saw how quickly my body developed.

Bodybuilding seemed to run in the family. From my uncle to my father and that’s when I decided I would keep the legacy going by training for my first Bodybuilding competition. Now I am working toward competing at the Pro level and continuing my life for the sport.

All of this lead me to become a personal trainer and help others achieve their ultimate fitness goals. Whether that’s on an athletic level or an everyday lifestyle level. I want to help assist and coach others in watch them attack their goals and live healthy lifestyles. If it weren’t for my family and coaches I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy, there were times when I had no clue what I wanted to do. If I wanted to be a computer engineer or even coach gymnastics, (the sport I love)!

Not that being a computer engineer or a coach wasn’t enjoyable. There are many experiences, lessons, and memories that I took from my days as a Gymnastics coach. I wouldn’t be the trainer I am today if it weren’t for some of those experiences.

There were many times when I straddled the fence and went the other way when I was told “No” or a door was closed in my face. But I realized that there was something more for me out there that I wasn’t fully tapping into and if I continued to allow one “No” to dictate my future I would never reach my fullest potential.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I currently work as a Personal Trainer. Specializing in Athletic, Strength Training, and Nutrition Coaching.

I’m known for my athletic background as a gymnast and bodybuilder.

I am most proud of how far I’ve come with my training and building my business. Not only that but how many people I have been able to impact, from all ages. One of my goals is to reach not only your everyday athlete but also those who don’t look like your average gym-goer. Those who don’t think they can look like the next fitness model.

What sets me apart from others is the way I choose to lead and carry myself. My business is faith-based and those who know me know who is head of my life and I’m not afraid to make that known. Without God, I wouldn’t have these skills and talents to be able to help others the way that I do.

My brand speaks for itself! The 3 F’s – Faith, Fitness, Food. Where my motto is, “Faith in God changes Everything.”

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I also work as a BANG ENERGY fuel teammember!
