Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel “Azrael” Espinosa.
Hi Azrael, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My introduction to the music scene was about 2 years ago when I was chilling with one of my artists before we decided to enter the music scene, and he asked me to be his producer. I’ve always enjoyed listening to music, and I was the type that would listen to the beat more than the lyrics, and now it all makes sense cause here I am today making those beats.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Anyone who says it’s smooth isn’t involved 1000%; it’s definitely been a rollercoaster of success, but it all leads to the same place, and that’s the end goal. Learning how to master the beat-making process, marketing yourself & others on your label & simply just getting your name out there was the most difficult. Once I realized the right steps. It was like a puzzle, the picture started coming together, and it was clear what I had to do to keep on going once I got the hang of things. Still learning every day though
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well, I’m a producer, so I make beats, but I also work 1 on 1 with certain artists that reach out to me in hopes of helping them elevate or perfect the sound they’re going for. I’m known around the city for my music and the kindness/love I show and bring around with me; I’m most proud of how consistent I am with this dream of mine and how I’m able to put a label together so early on and help others / lead them to their bigger picture together as a team.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Anyone can always reach out to me through my Instagram @Azrael_prod or my email Azraelbeatz@gmail.com. I’m always down to work with artists on any and every scale, even if you want to start out and choose me to help (those are my favorite sessions); as far as other producers, I love collaborating on beats; I’m always asking for other producers to send me loops/Melodies’ so we can get our sound out more together.
