Meet Anita Arredondo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anita Arredondo.

Hi Anita, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I actually started as an admin helper for another weight loss company and loved being around people and helping people so much that I became a coach. I struggled a little during the last 12 years with malignant melanoma, breast cancer, and loss of family members that I stayed put for a while. I then reached out for knowledge and knew that there was more I could do to help people that were not only losing the weight but regaining it as the education with the company I was with was lacking. I sought out a new and different avenue and I am coaching people to not only lose the weight but learn to live and not diet. Our minds and habits control how we relate to losing weight and keeping it off and I am educating people with the Moxifit program to accomplish keeping the weight off for good.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Struggles along the way with Cancer, and illness, and loss of family members,

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Lifestyle and Moxifit Weight Loss and Wellness Coach. I believe that helping people achieve their weight loss goals is just the first step toward health and wellness. I empower you to change their habits and choices long-term to live a healthier, happier life.

I use a playbook to teach and guide each person to create new habits and understand what works for their own body–not the masses. Everyone is unique.

I am so proud that I stepped away from what was not working to find a way to help people overcome their weight issues and truly help them be the healthiest versions of themselves. I am proud of myself that I had the courage to do something that I am truly passionate about.

Value in my coaching and empathy toward others and their personal and individual journey is what sets me apart from the others. I truly CARE.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am an 11-year Breast Cancer Survivor. I had a double Mastectomy and a year of Chemotherapy with many reconstructive surgeries. I also danced in the Super Bowl Half Time show in Tampa in 1984.
