Meet Anna Castellanos of Malcriada Nails

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Castellanos.

Hi Anna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For as long as I could remember, I always exerted entrepreneurship qualities without even realizing it. I remember being just 9 years old in my third-grade class selling drawings to my friends and later on in middle school selling thrifted clothes online. I reached my sophomore year of high school and though my online business was doing well, I wanted more, and I knew with my prior experience of managing a small business online I was capable of expanding my horizons and so I did just that. Ever since then, I continued on perfecting my craft putting myself out there and it all paid off towards the end. I am incredibly grateful for where I am now and look forward to what the future has to offer to me.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Any entrepreneur who has said they haven’t struggled and that their journey to success has been a smooth-sailing road all throughout is lying. Every single successful person in this world has been awarded with success from their willingness and inclination to fail. There will be times where you want to give up and resort back to the safe route that we’ve all been taught to live by. However, you must remind yourself that failure is inevitable, and failure is a blessing for the reason that it teaches us what does and doesn’t work for our business.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business name is Malcriada Nails and I offer nail enhancement services and I specifically specialize in acrylic nails. I’ve always advocated for professionalism, business integrity, and sanitary practices. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a loyal clientele and I pride myself for my ability to connect and bond with my clients. What compelled me to introduce my business to my small town is the lack of individual artists and small businesses. Generally, what I take most pride in is the care I have for my clients. Possibly the hardest part about being a business owner is obtaining drive and motivation no matter what you’re feeling in your own personal life. However, I’ve always made sure to put in my all in each service and just keep going.

Alright, so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
