Meet Eugene Parkhimovich and Anna Lukashova of E&A Dance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eugene Parkhimovich and Anna Lukashova. Them and their team share their story with us below:

E&A DANCE STUDIO was founded by Eugene Parkhimovich and Anna Lukashova in 2019 and opened doors of first physical location in 2021. It’s 2,600 Sq. Ft facility that beautifully designed with modern touches and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

E&A Dance Ballroom Studio embraces excellence both in and out of the ballroom. As a team, we are deeply committed to collaboration, integrity and professionalism, and believe it is an honor to teach and guide our students throughout their dance journeys.

We aim to:

Empower our students by allowing them to feel and experience full self-acceptance while developing their unique physical and spiritual strengths through dance;

Encourage our students by supporting them on their personal dance journey, whether they are taking their very first dance lesson or already competing professionally;

Engage our students in a fun, supportive, and creative community that celebrates them as individuals and as part of a team — a true sanctuary where all dreams are possible.

E&A Dance owned by team of two professional ballroom dancers who dedicated their lives to the ballroom dance industry.

Together they have more than ten years of teaching experience and more than 20 years of dancing experience.

Eugene Parkhimovich

Originally from Belarus, Eugene began taking dance lessons when he was seven years old and not too long after, he started competing in various dance events. Eugene continued to compete all over Europe for the next ten years. In 2006 he was accepted to Belorussian State University of Sports, where he studied physical education and ballroom dance. Shortly after that, he was hired part-time to teach kids and adults at a local dance studio. In University, he joined a National Ballroom dance formation team “Univers”. During those five years, the team won many titles including national championships and placing in the finals of World and European Championships.

Anna Lukashova

Anna was also born in Belarus. She started dancing at the age of nine. She received strong training in International Ballroom and Latin styles and received a lot of national and international awards throughout her dance career. After high school, she was accepted to Belarusian State University of Sports. She joined a ballroom dance formation team “Univers”, where Anna became 5 time national champion and took 4th place at the world championship. Looking to share her passion for dance she took a job teaching ballroom dance at the Belorussian State Medical University where they both with Eugene were teaching adults how to ballroom dance.

In 2012 Eugene and Anna moved to United States to continue their dancing and teaching career. They successfully competed in American Style Rhythm and Smooth and constantly train with U.S. and the world’s top coaches.

Eugene and Anna’s mission is to inspire for positive changes into people’s lives through ballroom dancing.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It wasn’t a smooth road, as immigrants we always should prove that we are worthy. Language barrier, culture barrier. At some point, we lost confidence and belief in ourselves.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
We are providing a great quality service for our students, they always recommend us to their family and friends. Referrals works the best for us. For finding a mentor – listen and advice from people, but accept advice only from people, that live the lifestyle that you want and achieve it from nothing.
