Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Candelaria.
Ashley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started back in 2020, the year I purchased my very first professional camera. Creativity has always been a part of my life whether it was creating fun video montages for my personal Instagram or taking pictures of my friends. My creativity expanded when I started serving in the creative team at my church and I was introduced to a whole new world of creativity when I was starting to dabble in graphic design and photography. Every week I was learning something new until I decided to try something on my own… photography. When the pandemic came around, I had no choice but to entertain myself, so I learned all about photography on YouTube, purchased a Canon 6D from a friend and the rest is history. I got my dream internship at a marketing agency in St. Pete, and I was later hired as a Creative Coordinator at a real estate company. While I was working a full-time job, I was booking shoots on the weekend. I saw that the demand was growing and that’s when I made the craziest decision to turn my dream into a business and CRTV ASH launched April 2022
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The journey is never easy, but it’s those obstacles that help me grow as an entrepreneur and it’s made me the woman I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a product, editorial, and wedding photographer. I’ve grown a deeper love for wedding photography, but I’m adding an editorial feel to all my pictures, and I love it so much.
