Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Jaimes.
Hi Ashley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Originally from California, I have always enjoyed the beaches, and sunny weather, being out and about and helping my community. Being a single mother I have always worked hard struggled but have always had inspirations to better my life and help the community by being apart of positive changes but also be able to have a flexible work schedule to be available to my family when its needed most. I want to be someone my family, kids, their friends and the community can look up to. This is what led me to Florida. From an amazing job opportunity that moved us here 11 years ago, fast forward to today where I was a 911 dispatcher for the last 5 years and now recently have branched off and started my own Mobile Notary Public/ Wedding Officiant business called Express Mobile Notary and More LLC. Helping people is what my passion is. Providing services that can provide convenience to someone in an already possibly stressful situation gives me joy and a sense of accomplishment. I also am apart of and support the LGBTQ community and want everyone to be able to equally live a happy/ healthy life no matter their sexual orientation or gender.
Being an Entrepreneur and business owner has opened doors for future opportunities for myself that are currently in the works that I never would of dreamed was possible. Sometimes to get ahead in life you have to take a leap of faith , and I stepped out on that leap with a lot of hard work, praying and positivity which keeps me going each and every day.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As we all know life is not always smooth sailing. For the last 16 years, juggling kids and work along with the other day to day life has had its ups and downs. There are never enough hours in the day when your working 2-3 jobs plus being mommy 24/7, 365 days a year. I am very lucky to have the support of my family. My parents have always had my back when I have needed it most and I am grateful.
We’ve been impressed with Express Mobile Notary and More LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I provide Mobile Notary Services. I offer General Notary services such as notarizations of Will’s, Power of Attorney, School Documents, Apostilles and Also am certified to notarize loan documents.
I have been an ordained minister since 2016. But now have the ability to perform wedding ceremonies along with notarize the marriage licenses.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I am a very open minded individual. I love working and growing. I like to go the extra mile to get the job done.
I want my clients to feel like they are working with a friend and not just a business transaction.
