Today, we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Aristia. Bianca was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Durell Peart.
Bianca, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Music has been with me ever since I was a child – I started writing songs when I was 8 years old. I kept collecting them and when I was in my teens I began playing around with synthesizers and producing my songs as well. I recorded „albums“ just for myself and my family and really found my joy in developing my style. My biggest inspiration were R&B/Soul artists like Beyoncé, Ashanti, Amerie, Destiny‘s Child and many more. But I also loved World Music and Jazz. I always knew I wanted to be a singer, so I studied singing at the university of music and theater in Leipzig. There I learned so much about different styles of music and met my band, who I perform with today. I also participated in The Voice of Germany and it helped me learn a lot about the music business. It was more important to me to be authentic and true to my style than to be famous with what is popular, so I decided to go my own way after the show and I got clearer and clearer about what I wanted to do. For me the most important thing is to inspire people with my music, uplift them, but also allow them to feel through heavier emotions, always coming out on the other side stronger. This is what I stand for. In 2019 I released my self-produced album “Rise” and after that several singles including Good Vibes, Only Wanted You and Hurt By Rejection. My newest single “Doves Fly” will be out on February 22, 2023. It’s all about looking at my personal life from a higher perspective and recognizing that even all the difficult situations were blessings in disguise, that lead me to be the person I am today, leaving me with lots of gratitude in my heart.
Please talk to us about your creative work and career. What should we know?
Usually my songs come to me playing the piano. I sit down and play, sometimes with a melody in my head, sometimes with just the feeling that something wants to come through and sometimes just from pure emotions. I write from my heart, carving out the melody and lyrics with the best expression possible. It’s all about conveying the message most clearly. I produce my own demos and then work with my producer Re:mind on the final version. I record my vocals myself and then everything is mixed by my producer as well. My favorite part of being a singer of course is to play concerts and present my songs with my band. I love the energy we’re creating together and how it transmits to the audience, raising the vibration. My focus is to evoke emotions in my listeners and really make them connect to how they feel by sharing my own story, which was also gowing through a lot of difficulties and heavy emotions. Still these heavy emotions always inspire me to define myself and my life more clearly. Knowing where I’m going and that I can live my dreams, this is what I want everyone to connect with as well. Durell is amazing. I loved working with him a lot. He always inspired me to keep working on myself and my brand and he had a very clear structure of how to do this. As an artist it’s very easy to get lost in the industry, everyone tells you something else and you get confused so easily. Durell made it very clear to me which steps would be the best to take. He educated me about strategies of how to build my audience on social media for example. It was nice to be guided there. He also shared many of his contacts with me, people who could really help me with my business. I always felt very supported by Durell and even in the moments when I stopped believing in myself he was there and reminded me that what I’m doing is good and deserves to be heard. His knowledge about how the music industry works is very valuable and made me see that I’m not the only one having these struggles and which steps I need to take to succeed anyway. He also changed my perception of what success is from seeing superstars to actually realizing I wanna be an indie artist who can still be successful and do things her own way and have loyal fans at the same time. Working with Durell helped me expand more internationally because I knew Germany was not going to be my focus. I always wanted to have an international career and Durell really could help me with that. I can only recommend him and his services. He knows what he’s doing and he doesn’t just do it for the money.
