Meet Caitlin Rogers of Clean Cooking with Caitlin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlin Rogers

Hi Caitlin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2016, I was obese, struggling with low energy, anxiety, and unhealthy habits that were taking a toll on my well-being. I knew I needed a change, so I committed to improving my diet and lifestyle. As I experimented with cooking whole, nourishing foods, I discovered a passion that not only helped me lose weight but also transformed my relationship with food and health.

Along the way, I started running, which gave me a sense of accomplishment and helped boost my energy and confidence. This journey led me to dive deeper into nutrition, eventually becoming a Certified Precision Nutrition Coach and creating Clean Cooking with Caitlin. Through my blog, I share plant-forward recipes and wellness tips to make healthy eating approachable and enjoyable.

I also founded Orlando Thrive Tribe, a community dedicated to promoting longevity and well-being through the principles of the world’s Blue Zones. It’s a space where health-conscious individuals, wellness professionals, and business owners come together to share knowledge, build connections, and support healthier lifestyles through events, education, and community initiatives.

My mission is to help others discover how nourishing food and intentional lifestyle changes can transform their lives—just like they did mine.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In 2016, I was at one of the lowest points in my life—going through a painful breakup, struggling with depression and anxiety, and using unhealthy habits to cope. I was sleeping excessively, often over 11 hours a night plus naps, yet I still felt exhausted. As a single mom, even simple responsibilities like getting my son to school felt overwhelming.

One of the biggest challenges wasn’t just losing weight but breaking free from the cycle of self-sabotage and building sustainable habits. I knew that if I didn’t change the way I approached food and movement, I would fall back into old patterns. I had to retrain my mindset, push through the discomfort of starting new habits, and stay consistent even when progress felt slow.

Another challenge was learning to cook from scratch. I had no background in the kitchen and burned just about everything at first. But through trial and error, I found that cooking whole, nourishing foods wasn’t just a way to maintain my health—it became something I genuinely loved.

Balancing everything—raising a child, staying committed to my health, and later growing a business around my passion—wasn’t easy, and it still isn’t. Now, I have a blended family with five children, including our 4-month-old. Managing a household while continuing my work in nutrition and wellness is a constant juggling act. But through it all, I’ve learned that lasting change comes from consistency, self-compassion, and a willingness to keep going even when things feel hard. That’s the mindset I bring into everything I do today, and it’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find a sustainable, realistic approach to health.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Clean Cooking with Caitlin?
At Clean Cooking with Caitlin, my mission is to make healthy eating approachable, enjoyable, and realistic for busy individuals and families. I specialize in plant-based, whole-food cooking, creating recipes that help people eat more nourishing, unprocessed foods without feeling restricted. Unlike many wellness brands that focus on rigid diets, I believe in a balanced approach that prioritizes what to add to your plate rather than what to eliminate.

I’m known for my practical, nutrition-driven recipes, my expertise as a Certified Precision Nutrition Coach, and my ability to make healthy cooking accessible to people at all levels. Whether it’s through my blog, social media content, meal plans, or coaching, my goal is to help people eat better in a way that works for their lifestyle.

What sets Clean Cooking with Caitlin apart is that it’s not just about food—it’s about sustainability, accessibility, and community. That’s why I also founded Orlando Thrive Tribe (OTT), a community dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier lives inspired by the longevity principles of the world’s Blue Zones. Through this, I bring together wellness-minded individuals, local businesses, and sustainable food advocates to share resources, create connections, and foster positive change in our local food system.

What I’m most proud of brand-wise is how my work has grown into something that not only helps individuals eat healthier but also supports local farms and businesses working toward a more sustainable food future. I’m deeply passionate about integrating regenerative agriculture into my content, helping people understand where their food comes from, and making healthy eating more accessible.
