Hi Catherine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I launched my nail business earlier in 2025 after facing some financial challenges that pushed me to find a new source of income. I needed something that offered flexibility, similar to my work in real estate, but also allowed me to tap into my creative side. I’d always admired a few talented nail techs I knew personally, so I reached out to them for guidance. Both of them were incredibly supportive and generous with their advice, which truly inspired me to take that leap of faith. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to invest in myself and start building something of my own. Since then, it’s been an exciting journey of growth, creativity, and empowerment — and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I truly believe everything has been aligning the way it’s meant to. There have definitely been moments of doubt and uncertainty, but I’ve learned to lean on faith and trust that God is guiding me through this journey. Every challenge has taught me something valuable and reminded me why I started. I try to stay grounded in gratitude and purpose, knowing that what’s meant for me will never miss me and what is not meant for me will only redirect me to what is.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a licensed nail technician currently operating from my home studio in Poinciana, where I’ve created a warm, comfortable space for my clients to relax and feel completely at ease. My goal is to make every appointment feel personal and peaceful — more like a self-care experience than just a nail service.
What truly sets me apart is my energy and the atmosphere I create. I’m very mellow, easy to talk to, and genuinely focused on each client’s comfort and vision. I listen closely to what my clients want and put my heart into bringing their nail ideas to life, whether it’s a simple, clean look or something bold and creative.
I’m most proud of how my brand reflects who I am — calm, intentional, and grounded in care. I want people to leave my chair not just loving their nails, but feeling refreshed, confident, and valued. My brand is all about creating beauty while nurturing peace of mind.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that always surprises people when they get to know me is my ethnicity — I’m Salvadorian. I usually get a funny, shocked reaction when I mention it, which always makes me smile. I think it’s because people often have their own assumptions before they really get to know me. I love sharing that part of who I am because my culture is such a big part of my identity — it’s where my work ethic, creativity, and warmth come from. It reminds me to always be proud of my roots and to bring that same authenticity into my brand and everything I do.
