Hi Charisse Elliott, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It’s funny how life works sometimes. We actually met through our kids — they were in the same classroom back in school. What started as casual school pick-ups and class parties eventually turned into something more.
Fast forward a few years, and we both ended up joining Keller Williams… just one month apart! We quickly realized we shared the same values, strong work ethic, and high standards. Naturally, we started teaming up — hosting open houses, planning events, and pushing each other to grow.
So when the time came, starting a team together just felt like the next right step. What began as a school connection turned into a partnership built on trust and a shared vision.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We stepped into a saturated real estate industry at a time when the market was shifting fast—rising interest rates, unpredictable buyer behavior, and constant pressure to stand out.
We keep going because we believe in what we are creating.
We’ve learned to pivot quickly, stay grounded in our values, and keep showing up even when things may feel uncertain. Sunshine & Sold was built during the messy, unpredictable moments—and that’s what makes it real.
