Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Bullard Barr.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I was younger, I always dreamed about getting married and having a fairytale wedding. Things didn’t exactly happen that way but I did have that fairytale wedding I dreamed about. As I grew older, my dreams transformed into planning weddings for friends and friends of friends. Which I was ecstatic about and loved helping with their dream weddings. While working for one of the top cruise lines, I fulfilled my passion for event planning by organizing and arranging events and trips for large parties and companies.
After dedicating 13 years of above and beyond satisfactory service, it was the birth of my granddaughter that reignited my love and passion for wedding planning. At that moment I remembered “true love never fails”. After a life changing relocation, I decided to follow my dreams again. After finally having my own happily ever after wedding, I enrolled/graduated from Lovegevity University and received my certification in Wedding and Event Planning. In honor of my granddaughter, Myalia, Myluvh Wedding & Events was created.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For me, following my dreams was not a smooth road. Especially, for an entrepreneur who chose to start a new business at a later age in life. Navigating new technologies inspired by a more youthful culture has been daunting but also a rewarding task.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
As a child, playing make believe was an upmost enjoyment. The white pricket finch, dog, wife, husband, and children were my everyday dreams. Very charismatic, growing up my main interest was seeing my family happy. An extrovert, I was very outgoing, affectionate, loving, carefree, and sociable.
