Meet Christopher Legrand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Legrand.

Hi Christopher, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sure! Hi, I started my YouTube channel to share my horror and Halloween collection. For years I’ve wanted to take my channel to the next level and experience Halloween Horror Nights for the 1st time. I attended HHN 31 this year and finally lived my dream after years of waiting. Especially since I turned 31 and this was HHN’s 31st year, I attempted on Halloween, which was the 31st. Since then, I have been turning my channel towards the news, updates, etc., on universal studios and their Halloween horror nights event. With my plans to travel there and back constantly for videos. I want to reach a new audience and share my adventures in Florida and universal studios. I aim to build a community on my channel where we can all get along, have fun and enjoy universal studios, Halloween, and horror. I am now also branching into theme parks such as universal studios and of course Halloween horror nights

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been a few struggles. The only one that was hard  was trying to build a community and get my videos out there and noticed. I have grown a strong community; many of my viewers and supporters are great people who come to my channel for the content, or a pick me up, or need info on upcoming horror movies, figures, etc. Getting my channel out there has been difficult, but I have been breaking into new audiences with consistency and motivation.

Thanks for sharing that. You could tell us more about your work.
In everyday life, I’m a store manager for a home decor store. But outside of work, I specialize in all things horror and Halloween, from doing my yard haunt in October to prop making and, most importantly, making videos on Halloween and horror content. My passion helps make my videos stronger and helps me gain more viewers and supporters and a place where we can nerd out. My greatest accomplishment so far has been reaching my 3k subscriber milestone with almost reaching my 4K goal.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Don’t be a monster. Keep it in the movies. People are people, and you never know what someone is going through. I’ve learned there are many great people out there, and I’ve learned that if one of my videos can help someone in any way, I’m doing something right. Some people enjoy my content not only for entertainment but for a pick me up and that no matter what I do, my content helps people and rely on me. So smile, motivate, and be a voice.
