Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Green.
Hi Claudia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello! My name is Claudia Green and I am a photographer in the Orlando area. I focus on home, travel, and lifestyle photography. My exploration of photography was prompted by a film class I took in high school. The movies that I watched and analyzed showed some of the most beautiful scenes I had ever seen, so I wanted to find a way to capture scenes like those in everyday life. I started to look at the picture of life in a different way, whenever I saw a moment that was beautiful to my eye, I had the urge to capture it. So, I saved up enough money to buy my first camera, and boy did I have a lot to learn. From there, I started taking photos anywhere and everywhere I could. I started with beautiful buildings and nature, and eventually, I began taking photos of my friends. This really sparked something in me because I loved creating a story with each person. Eventually, I started taking photos of local Orlando bands and graduating UCF students. I have recently begun exploring home photography, and I am currently the photographer for homes that are beautifully designed by Morrone Interiors, an interior design firm located in Winter Park, Florida. Throughout my years of being a photographer, I have learned so much about photography and the world around me. I have found that I crave capturing the art and beauty within a story.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a smooth road for the most part, photography has always been my way of expressing myself and I can see that in every shoot I have done. When all of my energy and excitement goes into a shoot, great results happen. Of course, there is always room for improvement and I intend on getting as much practice as I can to become a better photographer.

I specialize in home, travel, and lifestyle photography. The main focus of my photography career has been lifestyle photography because I love to convey a person’s story and the emotions that come with it. I have done shoots for local Orlando bands, graduating UCF students, and social media users. Something that sets me apart from others is my creativity. I am most proud of a recent graduation shoot I did where my client wanted non-traditional graduation pictures, and I jumped at the opportunity. I brought her to my favorite furniture and plant shop, where there is an abundance of color and greenery. She had her cap and gown on but the beautiful background and props made her graduation shoot different from any other. I think it is important that people are able to express themselves, not only with their emotions but also with the environment they are in. I have recently began exploring travel and home photography as well. Over the last few months, I have taken trips to Chicago, Illinois, and Spain. This has allowed me to capture stunning images of the unique architecture and nature of an environment so different than mine. I have also been enjoying home photography, I am currently a photographer for Morrone Interiors, an interior design firm based in Winter Park, FL. These designs are worked on for months, down to every last detail and I enjoy capturing and highlighting the work of art that it becomes.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
A book that really helped me dive deeper into photography and my own creativity is “Read This if you Want to Take Great Photographs” by Henry Carroll. This book is full of helpful information on how to capture different images and the specific techniques that could take the photograph to the next level. I should also mention that the photos that this book features are so complex and breathtaking, each showing a different way that art can be created.
