Hi Crystal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career as a Travel Agent in April 2014. I specialize in Disney destinations but I can help book and plan any destination. I promote my services primarily on social media but I also have many previous travelers that send referrals my way. I think the biggest thing that changed my business was once we moved to Florida and I was living what I sell and sharing my experiences on social media.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everything was going really well. My business was growing and 2020 was going to be my best year yet and then… well, we all know what 2020 brought… The pandemic has been my biggest challenge, and sometimes still is. But I continue to work hard and promote my travel services and it’s coming back! 2022 is looking to be a great year but I think 2023 will be THE year!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a Travel Agent, I specialize in Disney destinations and I am known for providing excellent service and knowledge for my travelers. I am most proud of my success, even thru the pandemic, I have remained a top performer for my agency, but I know I have many travelers to thank for that too! I think what sets me apart from others is my passion and my love for helping others have the best possible vacation experience, Disney or otherwise.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the travel industry growing over the next 5-10 years, mostly due to the pandemic and people not traveling or traveling less during most of 2020 and into 2021. Everything is changing, almost daily, as we work to make travel a safe experience again for everyone!
