Meet Daniel Andrade of Orlando, Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Andrade.

Hi Daniel , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story starts in Venezuela, where I was born in 1999. Since I was a kid, I always felt there was something bigger waiting for me. I was drawn to creativity, freedom, and the American culture. I taught myself English through music, movies, and YouTube—long before I even had the chance to leave my country.

At 18, I moved to the U.S. chasing that dream. I started from the bottom—working in restaurants and warehouses with long hours and little rest. But those experiences lit a fire in me. I knew I couldn’t live that way forever. I needed freedom—freedom of time, expression, and purpose.

That’s when I found photography. At first, it was just a way to express how I see the world, but soon it became much more. I realized I could help others tell their story visually—especially brands and individuals trying to grow online. So I built my own brand, started offering photography for personal brands, small businesses, and creatives, and little by little, things began to grow.

Today, I see photography not just as a job, but as a bridge between people and their essence. I help others feel seen—through honest, soulful images that connect. And that’s what keeps me going.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. It’s definitely been a road with a lot of ups and downs. When I moved to the U.S. at 18, I had no connections, no money, and no clear plan—just the drive to build something meaningful. I worked long shifts in restaurants and warehouses, often feeling like I was surviving, not living. There were moments when I questioned everything—my path, my dreams, my identity.

On top of that, building a personal brand in a new country, in a different language, while figuring out who I was as a creator—that came with a lot of internal pressure. I struggled with comparison, doubt, and the fear of not being enough.

But I’ve learned that every challenge carries a lesson. Those early struggles gave me grit and taught me how to move with purpose. I also realized that your past doesn’t define you—how you respond does. And now, I use everything I went through to connect deeper with the people I work with, because I know what it’s like to start from zero.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a photographer and creative storyteller. I specialize in helping people and brands bring their story to life through honest, soulful photography that connects emotionally and visually. My focus is on portraits, personal branding, and lifestyle photography—images that feel real, intentional, and alive.

What sets me apart is the way I see people. I don’t just take pictures—I create an experience where people feel seen, confident, and connected to themselves. I bring a calm, present energy to every session, and I pay attention to the little details—the posture, the light, the energy in the moment—because I believe those things say more than words ever could.

I’m most proud of the impact my work has on people. When someone tells me, “this photo feels like me” or “you captured something I didn’t know how to express”, that’s everything to me. I didn’t grow up with a camera in my hand or a clear path, but I’ve built something through curiosity, persistence, and heart—and I think people feel that in my work.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I believe risk is essential for growth. Every meaningful decision I’ve made in my life came with uncertainty—moving to a new country at 18, starting from scratch, choosing a creative path without guarantees. None of it felt “safe,” but all of it felt necessary.

One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was deciding to leave behind the traditional 9-to-5 mindset to pursue photography full-time. It meant letting go of stability and choosing a path where everything depended on me—my discipline, my vision, my energy. But that’s exactly what pushed me to evolve.

I don’t see risk as something reckless—it’s more about listening to what your soul is asking for and having the courage to follow that, even when it doesn’t make sense to others. I’d rather risk failing at something I believe in than succeed at something that doesn’t align with who I am.
