Meet Daphnee Louis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daphnee Louis.

Daphnee Louis

Hi, Daphnee. I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story? How did you get to where you are today?
This sounds cliche, but I became an event planner before I knew I was one. I have always enjoyed the process of planning and decorating events. I always wanted to host random things in my little college apartment for my friends to come to. After a while, a few of my friends kept pushing me to take it seriously, and one day, I finally did.

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been many struggles, but I know now that it was never anything I couldn’t handle. My biggest trouble has been building a lasting team to help with some workload. Planning and setting up for 25-50 people differs from a guest count of 200-300. Although it’s a hassle now, I know that over time, Creventco will get to a place where we’ll be accommodating large parties without having to think or stress about it.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in putting together classic tablescapes and am known for utilizing real flowers. I’m proud of my ability to completely transform a space using the little details that matter most to my clients. I pride myself on my attention to detail, which sets me apart.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite memories from my childhood would be helping my mom and cousins set up Thanksgiving dinner. We would set out fall decor and cute little placemats for our friends and family to enjoy. I should have known then that this would be my lifelong career.
