Hi Darianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began in 2019 when I entered the insurance industry. I have always believed in the importance of providing exceptional service, offering security and peace of mind through the right policies. At that time, I worked as an agent in an insurance agency, but my entrepreneurial spirit pushed me to seek more. In 2023, after welcoming my second child, I took a big step and founded my own insurance agency, Vivasafe Insurance.
At the same time, my passion for photography was always present and led me to explore the digital world. I combined my experience in insurance with my love for creativity, discovering the power of social media to build a personal brand and generate income through my passion as well.
Today, I balance both worlds: I continue to protect families and businesses through insurance while helping others build a strong digital presence through photography and capture their most cherished memories. My mission is to inspire others to pursue their dreams and show them that it is possible to turn their passions into real opportunities.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has definitely not been smooth, but every challenge has been a learning experience that has shaped me into the business woman I am today.
When I launched Vivasafe Insurance in 2023, I faced new struggles—managing a business, handling responsibilities beyond sales, and ensuring I had the right strategies in place to keep everything running smoothly. At the same time, growing my presence in the digital world through photography and content creation came with its own set of challenges. Learning how to balance both worlds, staying consistent, and overcoming self-doubt were all part of the journey.
Despite the obstacles, I have always focused on my passion for helping others, whether by protecting their businesses and families or inspiring them to build their own paths. Every setback has been an opportunity to grow, adapt, and push forward.

I am the founder of Vivasafe Insurance an independent insurance agency in Florida that specializes in helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. We provide coverage for auto, commercial, life, and health insurance, ensuring our clients have the security and peace of mind they deserve. What sets us apart is our personalized approach and excellent costumer service —we don’t just sell policies, we build relationships based on trust, education, and a genuine commitment to our clients’ well-being.
Beyond the insurance industry, I also have a strong passion for photography. Darianna Rivas Photography helps people capture their best memories and create impactful content that strengthens their personal brand. Through my work, I inspire others to see the potential in their passions and turn them into real opportunities.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the impact I’ve been able to make—not just by providing financial protection but also by empowering others to grow and believe in their dreams. Whether it’s through securing the right insurance plan or helping someone build their digital identity, my goal remains the same: to help people feel confident and prepared for the future.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe that success is a combination of preparation, persistence, and timing. While some might call certain moments ‘luck,’ I see them as opportunities that I worked for.
Throughout my journey, I’ve faced challenges. However, I see those moments of uncertainty and the ups and downs of entrepreneurship as essential to my growth. They have pushed me to learn, adapt, and become a stronger version of myself.
On the other hand, I’ve also experienced what some might call good luck—meeting the right people, being in the right place at the right time, or having opportunities come my way. But none of those moments would have mattered if I hadn’t been prepared to act on them.
Ultimately, I believe we create our own luck through hard work, consistency, and a willingness to take risks. Every experience, whether positive or challenging, has shaped my journey and led me to where I am today.
