Built From the Ground Up: The Rise of a Powerhouse Attorney
I launched Blair Legal Solutions LLC at 31—not out of convenience, but because I knew it was time to build something of my own. I didn’t just want to practice law—I wanted to own the space I was in. Today, my firm operates out of Orlando, Florida, and while we’re a general practice on paper, we dominate in complex business litigation. We handle high-stakes matters that require precision, strategy, and a relentless drive to win.
My journey didn’t begin in a courtroom. It started on the football field at Hampton University, where I learned discipline, leadership, and how to perform under pressure. While I was making plays on the field, I was also investing in my future off it—majoring in criminal justice and minoring in pre-law and eventually interning for a senior U.S. senator in Virginia. That experience showed me the power of law and how it could be used to shape lives, industries, and legacies.
After graduating, I took a strategic pause from law and moved to Atlanta, where I pursued acting and modeling. But I wasn’t just chasing the spotlight—I was sharpening my understanding of the entertainment world. At the same time, I worked as a paralegal for a major firm near Lenox Mall, where I got a firsthand look at how top-tier firms operated. That experience lit a fire in me.
Then fate stepped in. A recruiter from my alma mater—who also happened to be a law school dean—saw something in me. She pushed me to take the next step, and I enrolled at St. Thomas University “Benjamin L. Crump” College of Law, which brought me to Florida and unlocked the next level of my career.
Since then, I’ve stacked my résumé with experience across civil litigation, family law, criminal law, and personal injury. I’ve interned for a criminal judge in Miami-Dade County, and built and am building a reputation as a go-to legal strategist who gets results.
But this is just the beginning. My long-term vision? To become one of the top entertainment lawyers in the country. I’m already handling cases in that space and working with clients in the industry. I don’t just want a seat at the table—I’m building my own.
Everything I’ve done—from playing D1 football to interning at the Federal level, grinding in Atlanta, and launching my firm in Florida—has led to this moment. I didn’t wait for opportunities. I created them. And now, I’m building a legacy.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Not even close. But pressure builds diamonds.
Starting a firm at 31 isn’t just bold—it’s war. You go from having a paycheck to becoming the paycheck. Every win is on you, and every mistake is your responsibility. There’s no blueprint, no safety net. Just vision, discipline, and execution.
There were moments where the weight felt heavy. I’ve sacrificed sleep, relationships, and stability to build this. Early on, there were months where I questioned if I made the right move—whether clients would come, whether I had what it took to run a business while also being a full-time litigator. But quitting? That was never on the table. I don’t fold under pressure—I get sharper.
Before the firm, there were challenges too. Being a Black man navigating both the entertainment industry and the legal field came with its own set of barriers. I’ve been overlooked, underestimated, and told to “wait my turn.” I didn’t listen. I kept building.
When I moved to Atlanta, I was grinding in multiple lanes—pursuing acting and modeling while working as a paralegal just to stay afloat. There were days where I’d be studying for the LSAT in the morning and on set by night. It was humbling, but it taught me how to move in different rooms and connect with people on all levels.
Law school wasn’t easy either. I didn’t come from wealth or legacy—I built this with hustle, faith, and focus. And now, that same mindset drives my firm forward every single day.
So no, the road hasn’t been smooth. But that’s what makes the journey worth it. I don’t just survive storms—I thrive in them. Every obstacle has made me sharper, hungrier, and more locked in on my mission.

I’m not afraid of risk. In fact, I embrace it. Starting my own law firm at 31 was a major risk. I knew that the only way to truly own my future was to bet on myself.
And this mindset? It’s something I’ve carried throughout my career. Moving from football to politics to law wasn’t conventional, and it definitely wasn’t the easy path. But I understood that every risk was an opportunity for growth. Even working in Atlanta’s entertainment scene, balancing acting and modeling while working as a paralegal, felt like a gamble. But I took those risks to learn, to network, and to get closer to my vision. Every step built the foundation for what Blair Legal Solutions would become.
Risk isn’t just about the unknown—it’s about the willingness to confront it head-on. I don’t sit back waiting for “perfect timing” because that moment rarely comes. If you want something big, you have to go out and take it, regardless of the uncertainties.
