Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been fascinated by emotional wellbeing, and by alternative healing methods that are gentle, natural, and holistic. Back in the early 2000s, I first came across Bach flower remedies and noted it’s popularity growing in the US.
Over time I tried several versions of the remedies, but I saw a pattern: many were mass-produced, diluted, or mixed with synthetic additives. Since I couldn’t find anything with a high enough standrad of making the remedies I decided to create it myself.
So, around 2003, I founded FeelBach! to do just that. From the start, my aim was to combine tradition (the methods as Dr. Edward Bach laid out) with modern understanding of stress, sleep, mental wellness to offer remedies that truly “feel like they work,” not just in marketing.
That’s pretty much it. we’ve been doing it for a while and customers are loving it… Some customers and many practitioners have bought over 50 times in our store.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all, we had to source flower essences from the UK, which is a struggle. We then had to find the highest quality bottles to hold our remedies… We tried many manufacturers but kept having issues, broken bottles, leaks, etc.
It took us like 5 years to find the perfect manufacturer for bottles in Switzerland. We’re very proud of the quality of both the remedies and the bottles.
We’re also selling personalized remedies which was tough to automate. We created and improved our questionnaire to help build specific remedies for specific needs and had to teach our warehouse workers the process of fulfilling these orders.
We’ve been impressed with FeelBach!, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I already described it. we sell Bach flower remedies to help you regulate your emotions and improve your overall well-being. We’re most proud of our personal remedies & our weight loss remedy.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I’m not sure… I think AI will have a huge impact on everything but we have already improved our questionnaire to include AI-made remedies. The AI acts as a bach flower practitioner, then you describe your problem, and the AI comes up with the best possible blend for you.
