Lucid Events was created by owner Gina Damato to provide a seamless, stress-free, and exceptional wedding and event planning experience unlike any other. Her journey began almost 12 years ago, working with Disney Motion Pictures in NYC and planning exclusive red-carpet events. She worked for the Walt Disney Company for 10 years, participating in events throughout the park and providing magical moments in park management. She went on to become the Senior Venue and Vendor Specialist with WeddingWire for 3 years and helped to build WeddingWire in the Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville areas from the ground up. Her passion for designing weddings and events, combined with her years of industry knowledge, makes Lucid Events a premier planning service for the state of Florida. She has successfully planned large corporate events with Infosys and Drew Estate Cigar, as well as a number of beautiful and unforgettable weddings both large and small.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been one that I have always wanted to venture on, and I am so glad I did! I was able to apply so much of the knowledge I had learned throughout my career to take that leap and turn my passion into my business. As with any business, there is always the challenge of getting up and running, and being able to put yourself out there. I do find it amazing that when you love what you do, you’d be surprised at what you can accomplish. I was able to book over 50 events within 4 months of starting my business. I am very grateful and excited for what the future holds.

We pride ourselves on having a clear vision for our clients to help turn their event into a perfect reality, every event. We are experts in creating the best event team while working with the client budget, to create an unforgettable evening everyone will speak about for years to come. Our planning ranges from full service to day of management and we cover the entire state of Florida.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Weddings are always taking on new trends! We love to see what new and unique adds to your wedding we can help make happen! I can’t predict what trends are in the future, but I can say that weddings won’t be dying down any time soon!
