Meet Heissam Jebailey of I’m in. Events., I’m in. Real Estate. and I’m in. Fitness.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heissam “I’m in” Jebailey.

Hi Heissam, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Both my parents are Lebanese, I was born in Canada and moved to live in Orlando, FL ever since I was 5 years old. I went to grade school, catholic high school, and graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Advertising and Public Relations Degree in 2000. I went on to co-own and operate the university’s newspaper for several years, the Central Florida Future before selling it to Gannett. During that time, we won numerous awards including Best Newspaper in the Country and I was one of the youngest inductees into the Nicholson School of Communication and Media Hall of Fame. From there I went on to owning and operating a yogurt franchise, office building, speaking, and residential and commercial real estate company which I still do today.

But my passion has and always will be events. Soon after graduating from UCF, I fell deathly ill with a Full-Blown Case of Pneumonia (among other pre-cancerous issues) and was in and out of ICU for two months. 15 oral surgeries and one miraculous thoracic lung surgery later, I survived. It was in that moment I envisioned black and white colors and swore I would do something about it one day.

After making a full recovery 10 years later, I started an event to celebrate the fact that I was still alive and wanted to bring everyone I knew with me. Thus, the Black and White Party was born in May 2010.

In May 2013 we added a local charity known as BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation and a 20-person #committeefam raising funds and awareness for kids battling cancer and helping tremendously with their programming and bringing smiles to these kids’ faces. In 2015 we turned into a Black and White Weekend of 3 days and 2 nights of fun. In 2019 we celebrated our 10-year anniversary and in 2021 we became the first major charity event to launch safely and successfully during the pandemic. And this year we officially became the World’s Largest Black and White Weekend for Charity and Wellness with nearly 1,000 RSVPs, 170 booked hotel rooms, and raising over $140,000.00 to date on top of a fun and affordable one-of-a-kind event for anyone to experience.

We are now set for the 13th annual Black and White Weekend for BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation and each other on Saturday, May 20, 2023. For tickets, hotel accommodations, and information please visit http://BlackandWhiteWeekend.com

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think anyone successful in any way has ever had a smooth road to get to where they are today.

For me, some of the struggles have always been putting everything I have and believe into any one event without taking much-needed breaks and time off.

I’ve had the honor of working with and having the support of thousands of people but there will always be a few along the way that don’t agree or support your overall cause and beliefs. Those are the ones you just need to look past and let them deal with their own issues while never letting it get to you.

Anything that can go wrong in life or at an event will. I have so many stories of things that didn’t go according to plan or issues that have happened that no one would expect. You need to learn to roll with the punches and find an immediate and probable solution in order to keep things moving.

Luckily with the help of friends and family advising me, helping me, and making the right decisions along the way, we are all still doing well.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about I’m in? Events., I’m in. Real Estate. and I’m in. Fitness.?
So altogether I put together and host large networking and charity events throughout the year. I also have my real estate license helping individuals with their residential and commercial needs. And I have a love for fitness and helping others find their way in their health and wellness journey.

What sets us apart from others is that our events don’t cater to any one company or individual or belief. We have always welcomed all ages, all work backgrounds, and anyone that loves to enjoy life and support the community. We are meticulous in giving attendees an experience they can’t get anywhere else with the way we run our events near flawlessly and different than any other charity event in existence.

Brand-wise, I am most proud of my brand and slogan I created all the way back in 2012, simply known as I’m in. I use it everywhere I go and in everything I say. The goal is for everyone to be into what I do and the events we create. Without it, we wouldn’t all be where we are today within the Social Community.

I want people to know that whatever their event, real estate or fitness needs are, I can help. These are my passions and what I’ve specialized in for half my life. To keep track of everything anyone can visit www.IminEvents.com or e-mail info@iminevents.com to get on the list.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being with family and friends, movies and gyms, staycations and traveling have always been my happy place. I do and feel better when I’m around people and I continue to look my best when I get plenty of sleep and don’t party much even though I put together and host them. I hardly ever drink or eat sweets these days and I’ve gotten accustomed to a more simple and minimalized lifestyle that keeps me happy.
