Hi Irene & William, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
P.N.S. Appraisal Corp. is a small business (husband and wife). We met at a previous appraisal firm we worked at together, fell in love and decided to venture off on own and open up P.N.S. Appraisal Corp. in April 2005.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been smooth seas. In 2008, when the housing market crash happened our business become really slow almost nonexistent. Unfortunately, we were forced to close our office and send our employee’s home. But on the bright side all that turmoil thought us a lot especially when it comes to the business side, now we are thriving and doing amazing!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
P.N.S. Appraisal Corp. is a real estate appraisal company specializing in residential real estate. We service all of Central Florida. We have been in business for over 20 years now and provide a wide range of appraisal services from pre-listing, buying, divorce, estate planning and much more. Our clients range from homeowners, lending intuitions, attorneys to local realtors. Our appraisers Irene Lopez (practicing since 2004) and William Lopez (practicing since 1998) have a proven track record of exceeding our customers’ expectations. Personalized attention to our clients’ needs is our goal. Our appraisers take the time to explain the appraisal process to our clients (which you will find is not common in our industry), after all we are valuing one of their biggest assets if not the biggest. We are two appraisers with one vision. In this market, it pays to have twice the knowledge and that’s what you get when you hire P.N.S. Appraisal Corp.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
We have had several mentors throughout our apprentice years and observed several different styles of appraising. But we would say that our biggest supporters have been each other. We are able to consult, solve and collaborate together.
