Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Cuccionilli
Hi Jenna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I was in chiropractic school, I knew I wanted to start blogging when I found out you could create an income with it. Fast forward a couple of years & we had been battling infertility. I decided I didn’t want to keep quiet about our journey & I wanted to share it with the world. I knew if I felt alone, many other women did too. My social media platforms more than doubled when I started sharing our story – which I wasn’t expecting.
I’m so grateful for it too because I’ve made so many amazing friends who have been there for our entire journey. 5 miscarriages, 1 stillbirth (our son Graham born sleeping 7/16/21), & most recently our adoption journey. We brought home our son (he is 3) & finalization should be in April 2025. There’s no way we could have gotten through it without God by our side. No doubt that God & our heavenly son, Graham, sent us our little boy, Hunter. 7+ years of infertility & sharing our journey in real time through all of the fertility treatments & more – & we now have our miracle.
It started as a way to make extra money while in school & then became so much more. Now it’s a creative outlet for me as well as a place to share our journey & be a support system for others who might need it.
I want to always share my creative side like DIYs, fun crafts for our son, home decor, recipes, & more. But my passion is to share about infertility & now adoption. To break the stigmas & educate everyone on both.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely hard putting your life on social media for the world to critique. By no means am I famous – nor do I ever want to be. (Haha). You learn to block & bless those people who have ill intentions that we all call trolls. But honestly if you can block out the haters – then growing on social media isn’t too bad! The positive always outweighs the negative!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a doctor of chiropractic – but currently a stay at home mom to our son we just brought home through adoption. I will practice once he’s in kindergarten- but until then I’m soaking up every minute. After battling infertility for 7+ years, I want to be home with him as much as I can. Currently my full time job is my social media as what most would call being an “influencer”. I’m so proud of the platform and community of women I’ve been able to surround myself with & meet over the years. Sharing my vulnerability online I think is what sets me apart from others. Also sharing everything in real time!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For some, success is achieving a college degree, reaching a goal (big or small), or maybe even buying something like a house or boat. Success is so subjective in my opinion. I think success is shaped on your own experiences & can be different for every person.
For me – success is being a mother. I went to school & became a doctor, we bought a house, I have an amazing husband & a sweet puppy. The one thing I wanted more than anything in life was to have a living child yet it was the one thing that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t achieve. Bringing home our son through adoption at the end of 2024 made me feel like I finally achieved my goal in life.
