Meet Jennifer Paris of Waxx Bar, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Paris.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started out renting a room out of my friends salon for 6 years. Two years ago my husband passed away unexpectedly. A few months later a store front became available for rent in the same strip mall so I jumped on the opportunity to grow Waxx Bar. I did a seven room build out to welcome other aesthetic professionals to grow their business. It’s been an amazing experience!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely has not been smooth, but i always say “you have to be uncomfortable to grow”, and i pretty much live my life with that mind set.
Some of the struggles are definitely adjusting financially and not having girls in and out of the rooms, keeping consistency.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Waxx Bar, LLC?
Waxx Bar was established September 4 2018. I’ve built this business from the ground up, with plenty of blood, sweat, and many tears.
I specialize in Brazilian and eyebrow waxing, but i do offer full body as well.
What sets me apart from others is that it’s super important to me for my clients to feel comfortable and give them confidence. I like to keep conversation during service to keep my clients mind busy.
I’m proud to have built my empire to give the community a comfortable space to get such intimate service done.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the support our community gives!
I don’t have any dislikes.
