Meet Jeremiah Jacques of Kissimmee FL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Jacques

Jeremiah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story begins as a young artist, born into a dysfunctional family. Because off the constant instability and chaos I never had the freedom to fully express myself & explore my gifts.

For many years I’ve experienced/witnessed emotional & physical abuse for most of my childhood up until my early twenties.

At age 16 I started building my social media career showcasing my new found love for makeup through artistic expression. Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly throughout all the phases in my life to keep my love for expression & content creation alive.

Now, I’m 23 soon approaching 24. Working on getting multiple beauty licenses, maintaining a full-time job, working as a part-time freelance makeup artist, and building the future/life I’ve always knew I deserved.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has never bin a smooth road. Over the course of time I’ve struggled with depression, suicidal-thoughts, self-harm, & low self-esteem. I’m glad to say that I’ve overcome them all but things could have easily taken a turn for the worst if I would have given up.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have bin growing a social media platform since I was 16 years old showcasing my love for expression/beauty through the use of makeup. As a queer artist, no one in my family understood me & I didn’t have my parent’s approval to continue. However, I kept going in spite of that because deep down I knew I was doing right by myself.

Now, after years of hard work I’ve amassed over 200,000 followers across all social media platforms (@jmdelore) just by sharing my talents & showcasing my love for beauty/art to the world!

What sets me apart from others is my unique eye for beauty, creativity and detail. In addition, my relentless drive, resilience, & determination is unparalleled to most because of everything I’ve built & fought to maintain & protect over extended periods of time.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is my family was together in out NY railroad apartment. I was 11 years old while my older brother was 12 & my sister was 6 years of age. In that exact moment I made a mental note in my mind because I knew that no matter what, I’d never want to forget how happy everyone was together.

I don’t have many positive moments in my childhood but remembering that moment where there was just peace and happiness will forever be a moment frozen in time for me.
