Meet Jessica Krammer of Wildflower Beauty by Jessica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Krammer.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Before I started the company, I struggled with acne and troubled skin. I tried everything out there – including dermatologists and medicated creams. Nothing worked, in fact, every time I tried something new or prescribed, my skin got worse. I started doing some research and realized that it was possible I was having reactions to products and that was my issue.

So I started learning about natural ingredients and what they can do for your skin – and formulated my own recipes and began making creams for myself. I would take them to work with me in reused jelly jars and random jars I had around the house, and people started asking me what I was doing and what I was putting on my skin. After explaining repeatedly, I started getting requests from my co-workers to make them the same products because they too or someone in their family had similar issues and they wanted to try it out.

After some great feedback, I decided to expand my offerings just a little and launch a very basic collection at a farmer’s market. It started off slow, but then the repeat customer rate began to go up and up and up. I switched to a busier market, and after 2 years decided to open my own permanent retail location in downtown Winter Garden.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I feel very blessed honestly. I think the fact that I was in Winter Garden has been a huge help to the launch of my business. The city and community are so supportive, and it made me feel like it was meant to be from day 1.

Struggles? 100%. Just life… marriage and 2 babies during my first few years of business definitely created a time challenge, but every day was a new day and I always fight for what I wanted – which in this case was the success of my shop.

The pandemic created a problem for sure, but we made it through and focused on our online growth, and hit a record year in 2021.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Wildflower Beauty by Jessica was built from nothing to solve a need in the skincare industry that didn’t exist anywhere at the time. Natural skincare is everywhere now, but my LLC was founded in 2012 – natural skincare wasn’t a thing then.

We are small-batch skincare that is similar to home cooking instead of fast food. I personally design and create all of our products & their recipes and develop them based on needs from my customers and their feedback. Hey, beauties! My name is Jessica and I am the owner and founder of Wildflower by Jessica – an all-natural skincare company that is changing the way we do skincare.

Ya we know, everyone is saying that… but we have been natural since before it was cool, and we want to share more of our story with you. This story began in 2012, almost a decade ago, and our natural skincare journey never stopped.

At the end of the day, we want you to be able to come home, relax, and pamper yourself. Maybe that means a warm bath for you, or maybe that means playing with your babies and snuggling, or maybe it’s a night on the town. No matter what your evening consists of, we want to offer a product that women not only love, but they feel safe using.

No matter which product you purchase from us, you can count on it being 100% natural and chemical-free.

Mission:
We are a 100% natural skincare company that is changing the way we do skincare. We are passionate about creating chemical-free products that are effective and powerful, but most of all, they are SAFE.

As a woman-owned business, we know the importance of self-love, self-care, and self-value. All are things we represent when we formulate each and every one of our products with pure and natural ingredients.

In life, we take a pass on all toxicity and know that anything toxic can never be good for you – at least not in the long term. We officially welcome you on this natural journey and are so excited to share with you what natural beauty really means.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
A family vacation down to Key West. It was an amazing time, we were all together, which means a lot to me now later in life. My dad passed away when I was only 11 years old from mesothelioma, and I’m so glad I have a family trip to look back on to remember us all together.
