Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I wanted to create a networking space for local, AAPI-owned small businesses. Orlando has many amazing pop up markets but few that emphasize Asian-owned vendors.
I love to see artists and makers thrive and make connections. Seeing their name and talent put out there for the world to admire and appreciate always makes the hard work I put in to organize events absolutely worth it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing good ever comes easy, but the results are always 100% worth it.
Managing to organize and host a pop up market will always be crazy but with the help of my husband, amazing friends, and support network, Lucky Cat Mini Mart has had 3 successful pop ups that truly highlighted Orlando’s Asian local makers and vendors.
We have many more markets coming up that I am so excited for!
What’s next?
Lucky Cat Mini Mart started as a big dream of mine to bring the local Asian community together and also offer networking opportunities for vendors. My goal is to continue to provide new and exciting connections and events to help support and showcase all of these creative and talented businesses!
